　これまでの建築計画及びデザインは，固定化したビルディングタイプをつくり出してきました．私たちは，このような定型化した既存の価値観に再検討を加え，様々な角度から見つめ直し，新しい計画・デザインを目指しています．特に都市デザイン，居住施設，文教施設，医療施設，高齢者施設，障害者施設など，このような不特定多数の方々が利用する都市や建築の計画は，官民問わず公共的な価値観が必要ですが，未だ多くの建築の設計は，多くの未解決の問題を有しています．定型化したイメージに捕われることなく，新しい価値観をエンドユーザーの立場で考え，計画・デザインすることを目指しています．
また，建築設計だけではなく，都市デザインなどの調査・研究も行っています．時には，大学などの研究機関と連携し，調査を行い，建築設計の実践とともに，フィールドワークや市民とのワークショップを行っています．
　Traditional architectural planning and design tends to produce standardized architectures. Rather than relying on these existing standardized values, we strive to consider a range of different perspectives in order to create new and original plans and designs. Planning of cities and architectures for general and/or public use, such as urban designs, residential housing, educational facilities, medical facilities, aged care facilities, and handicapped facilities, requires a strong emphasis on the public interest, for both public and private sector projects alike. However, architectural design still has many unresolved issues in this regard. Our mission, therefore, is to explore new values from the viewpoint of end-users in planning and design without being constrained by standardized ideas.
In addition to designing actual architectures, we also undertake urban design research studies in collaboration with universities and other research organizations. These include field studies and research, as well as workshops with end-users.
