　これまでの建築計画及びデザインは、固定化されたビルディングタイプを作り出して
きました。私たちは、このような定型化した既存の価値観に再検討を加え、様々な角度
から見つめ直し、新しい計画・デザインを目指しています。特に都市デザイン、居住施
設、文教施設、医療施設、高齢者施設、障がい者施設など、このような不特定多数の方
々が利用する都市や建築の計画は、官民問わず公共的な価値観が必要ですが、未だ多く
の建築の設計は、多くの未解決の問題を有しています。定型化したイメージに捕われる
ことなく、新しい価値観をエンドユーザーの立場で考え、計画・デザインすることを目
指しています。また、建築設計だけはでなく、都市デザインなどの調査・研究も行って
います。時には、大学などの研究機関と連携し、調査を行い、建築設計の実践とともに、
フィールドワークや市民とのワークショップを行っています。
　Traditional architectural planning and design tends to produce standardized architectures.
Rather than relying on these existing standardized values, we strive to consider a rangeof
different perspectives in order to create new and original plans and designs. Planningcities
and architectures for general and/ or public use, such as urban designs, residentialhousing,
educational facilities, medical facilities, aged care facilities, and handicappedfacilities,
requires a strong emphasis on the public interest, for both public and priivatesector
projectsalike. However, architectural design still has many unresolved issues inthisregard.
Our mission, therefore, is to explore new values from the viewpoint ofend-usersin planning
and design without being constrained by standardized ideas.
　In addition to designing actual architectures, we also undertake urban design research
studies in collaboration with universities and other research organizations. These include
field studies and research, as well as workshops with end-users.
